- Territory - Portland Metro
- Full Time - starting pay range $105,000-$140,000 based on experience
- Experience - 2+ years of HVAC Service Technician field experience, 5+ years of related work experience, excellent knowledge of HVAC industry, and Sales Team and Customer training.

Summary
The High Efficiency Specialist will provide Gensco customers, branches and Team Members with product, application, service, technical support, and training on Mitsubishi high efficiency products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- 1. Customer Service
- Respond via phone, voicemail, or email to Gensco Customers and Team Members within 24 hours.
- Follow through on all commitments.
- Assist with the resolution of all Customer opportunities and issues (quotes, options, disputes, warranties, and product failures) within 24 hours.
- Assist with the resolution of all Consumer complaints within 24 hours
- With assistance from the OSR, develop up to 20 key residential and commercial accounts targeted for dramatic growth.
- Responsible for attaining Regional and Branch Mitsubishi sales goals.
- Sales
- Recognize Ductless opportunities in a Contractor’s business
- Effectively communicate the profit story for Owners and Managers.
- Design Assistance
- Understand system components and how they work.
- Teach Contractor’s Teams how to use the Design System Builder software
- Tailored Training
- Provide training on installation, service, and sales.
- Design training on product knowledge and application.
- Sales
- Training
- Responsible for monthly training and education on Mitsubishi products at the branches on the following:
- Product knowledge
- System matches
- Application basics
- Parts lookup and quoting
- Responsible jointly with the Supplies OSR for developing and implementing a tactical training plan for key Mitsubishi Dealers:
- System application & design
- Installation
- Service
- Assist OSRs with providing new Dealers with technical training on the application, installation, service, and repair.
- Inventory
- Work with local Branch Managers and Corporate Purchasing Department to:
- Communicate market trends and inventory movement on key accounts.
- Communicate accessory opportunities.
- Service Support
- Provide service and technical help (as requested) daily along with other duties.
- Spend one day per week 100% in Mitsubishi service/technical support for all Customers within Gensco Regions.
- Startup Assistance
- Assist Customers with “startup” on:
- M&P (new dealers only)
- PUMY + P Series Hyper Heat
- City Multi
- Quote Assistance
- Assist the local Branches and OSRs on more technical Mitsubishi quotes.
- Responsible for design assistance upon request by local Branches, OSRs, and Customers, which may include providing the actual quote.
- AA degree required, 4-year degree preferred
- 5 years of related work experience and excellent knowledge of HVAC industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgenc
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriatel
- Strong people skills and be able to portray “Partnership Proposal” effectively
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations
- Strong presentation skills
- Willing to “think outside of the box” and identify process improvement opportunities
- High degree of honesty, ethics, and integrity
- Able to operate personal computer, calculator, other office machines and proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facility
- Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies on a frequent basis
- Able to travel as required
