This job is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm based out of any Gensco Branch located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, or Alaska.

Summary
Provide technical support and training for equipment sold by Gensco by offering guidance on installation, service, and repair to Customer’s technicians in the field and Gensco Team Members.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to HVAC technicians within Gensco’s territory via phone, email, and text.
  • Document each call including its topic, caller, and overall outcome.
  • Escalates technical calls to the next available Field Service Representative or High Efficiency Product Specialist when appropriate.
  • Provide parts research assistance and suggest functional parts stock to Gensco Team Members to ensure proper after sale product support.
  • Work with factory representatives on product bulletins or reworks as necessary.
  • Provide Team Member and Customer technical training as necessary. Help create trainings and documentation to assist Gensco Team Members and Customers with product knowledge.
  • Maintain technical proficiency on equipment sold by Gensco by attending local and factory trainings.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Two-year degree and/or equivalent work experience required
  • Five years of related work experience and excellent technical knowledge of HVAC industry preferred
  • Customer service-oriented approach, respond to requests with a sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong people skills, recognizes when to use formal or informal approach
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
  • Able to operate personal computer, proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other software.
  • Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facility
  • Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies as necessary
  • Able to travel as required
