Gensco has an immediate opening for a Senior Enterprise Application Support Specialist based out of our corporate headquarters in Tacoma, WA! This position is required to be fully onsite in Tacoma for training, but is then eligible for a hybrid schedule once training has been completed. 

Schedule Monday-Friday Day Shift
Full Time - Pay Range $80,000 - $180,000 annually based on experience

What You’d Be Doing as a Senior Enterprise Application Support Specialist 

  • Support users by answering application questions, tracking issues, monitoring changes, and escalating support cases as needed
  • Lead effort to implement application best practices
  • Review and improve companywide application processes and procedures
  • Create and maintain training documentation. Facilitate in person training as needed
  • Install and configure software and software updates regularly
  • Customize software to meet internal needs when requested

  • Required experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) software
  • Required experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Prefer experience with SAP Crystal Reports
  • Experience with C# (or any programming language) and EDI is not required but is a definite plus
  • Completion of college program in information technology or related studies
  • Minimum of seven years of information systems experience in a business environment
  • Experience with database report design a plus
  • Familiarity with a cloud computing technology (Azure preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time & details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environment
  • Superior Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
  • Demonstrated success in working independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with staff with varying levels of technical expertise
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems for desktops and server
  • Understanding of Microsoft desktop applications
  • High degree of honesty, ethics and integrity with prior work experience handling confidential information
  • Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facility
  • Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies
  • Able to work beyond normal business hours if necessary
