Pricing Coordinator

Schedule - Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Full Time - starting pay range $20-$25 per hour based on experience (onsite position)
Summary
- Performs a broad range of pricing and administrative responsibilities including running reports, preparing data in Excel, maintaining copies of Supplier quotes, cataloguing competitive pricing documents, and sending internal communications to the Branch and Sales Teams.
- Receives and responds to pricing requests by phone and email in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Supports the Pricing Department in price adjustments, sales analysis, pricing inquiries, and internal communication of pricing information.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for answering phone calls to the Pricing department.
- Provides pricing support to the Branch and Sales Teams within established guidelines.
- Forwards requests as needed to the appropriate Pricing Team member for resolution.
- Collects, catalogs, and updates competitive information submitted by the Sales Team.
- Maintains copies of Supplier quotes in a central location for Pricing Department.
- Runs daily low margin report and works with Branch, Sales, or Pricing Team Members to resolve issues.
- Reviews purchases by Customers with special pricing and works with the Sales Team to resolve non-performing issues.
- Runs reports and prepares data in Excel to assist with making pricing decisions.
- Assists with administrative duties including timekeeping, conference call and meeting room scheduling, and weekly/monthly commodity price updates to Sales Managers.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-year college degree preferred
- Excellent math, written and oral communication skills required
- Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person, over the phone, and by email
- Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environment
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
- Must be comfortable working in a team oriented, fast paced, multiple task and customer focused environment
- Willing to “think out of the box” and identify process improvement opportunities
- Requires the ability to move freely about the facility, work sitting or standing, operate basic business machines, and lift and carry office supplies
